Phlebotomy

The practice offers patients a phlebotomy service with our healthcare practitioner. Appointments are only available until 11:30am as samples are collected by the hospital no later than midday. As appointments are limited, please book in good time if you need a blood test.

Phlebotomy services can also be found at York District Hospital and Asda Supermarket where there is a Hospital-run outreach clinic every weekday morning. If you choose to attend the hospital or Asda you will need a blood test request form that you can get from the surgery. This will give details of the tests that your doctor has requested.

Healthcare Practitioner Clinics at the surgery are available as follows:

Elvington Surgery	Monday, Tuesday and Friday mornings
Wheldrake Surgery	Wednesday morning
Dunnington Surgery	Thursday morning
