Maternity Cover – Salaried General Practitioner Vacancy

 A superb opportunity has arisen for a 3 session Salaried GP at Elvington Medical Practice, York;

We are a friendly, innovative, mutually supportive and progressive partnership looking to find maternity cover for a 9 month period between August 2019 and January / April 2020. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working team player to join us.

 Elvington Medical Practice is a thriving rural training practice with an enthusiastic team, strong financial performance and a focus on preserving the work-life balance. Serving 7,100 patients we have a large purpose-built main site with two branch operations, and consistently achieve highly across all aspects of care and service delivery. Our latest CQC inspection, for which we were awarded a ‘good’ rating, highlighted the caring and committed staff as one of our standout features.

 We are a Hull York Medical School teaching and postgraduate training practice. An interest in medical education would be advantageous.

 The successful candidates will complement the existing five partners’ strengths, evidenced by their own interests, goals and behaviours.  New and soon to be qualified applicants will be considered as well as more experienced candidates.

 Informal chat/visit would be welcome, please contact Abigail Holdstock, Business and Operations Manager, on 01904 757428 or email Abigail.holdstock@nhs.net

 Closing date for applications is 30 June 2019
